FAKE MAN / SOCK
Robot: FAKE MAN
Name: Susanna Maria Sockington IV AKA “Sock”
Height, weight, age, whatever else: NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.
Gender: Considering the name “Fake Man,” one would assume this is actually a woman pretending to be a man. But then again, being a shapeshifter, the whole concept of gender is ambiguous at best… also, robots have no biological sexes.
Arms: two – the first one is a gun – a FAKE gun that shoots out a little flag with the word “bang” on it… which can be used to impale bad guys. You know, like what happened with The Joker once. As for the other arm… it is a regular arm – well, a regular robot arm – a FAKE arm if you will.
Backstory
Susanna Sockington was the princess of some small British micronation (who talks with a FAKE british accent) in the late 1800’s. She dreamed of being a cop, but back then women couldn’t become cops so she was forced to such stereotypical tasks as cooking and cleaning. Except she WOULD have been – see, being a princess she had maids to do all that. Therefore, she was left to nothing more than waiting to be kidnapped or whatever.
But she’d have none of that. Using all her boredom, she begain mixing potions and invented the ability to shapeshift. In order to survive all the way from the 1800’s to the 200X’s, she assumed many different forms throughout the years. These included a dog, a school bus, Paul McCartney, and most recently a male police robot. Which would probably make her a “he.” Or an “it.” THERE IS NO WAY OF KNOWING.
Character
Fake Man is a master of disguise and deception. And a chronic liar. Only about half of what she—he—it—WHATEVER says is the truth. Fake Man is also an extremely mischevious prankster, using the aforementioned shapeshifter abilities to impersonate other people. Especially if they are teammates or bad guy bosses. Fake also tends to over exaggerate things.
Fake Man carries around a FAKE lawbook, complete with laws Fake Man made up Fake Manself. These tend to be outlandish (no storing empty pudding cups for more than three hours in the sun), or perhaps convenient at the time (stealing that donut Fake Man was going to eat is CRIMINAL FELONY) – see, Fake tends to randomly handcuff anyone who breaks said laws. Fake can be seen penciling in new laws immediately after arresting someone.
